About Me

My name is Lauren, and I’m originally from Northern Ireland. I started teaching English in 2014, when I was living in Finland. Since then, I have taught students of all ages, proficiency levels, and nationalities - it is always incredibly fulfilling to be able to help my students reach their full potential as English speakers, and guide their progress in achieving their language learning goals. My teaching is based upon enthusiasm, encouragement, and support – my aim is for students to feel confident and motivated in their learning journey. I believe that we learn languages most effectively through enjoyment and meaningful communication, so I try to ensure that my lessons are fun and engaging, with plenty of speaking opportunity. My goal is to guarantee that English language learning is a positive and rewarding experience for my students!
