About Me

Hello my name is Zena ("zay-na"). I am a CELTA qualified EFL / ESOL teacher with a personal understanding of what it's like to learn English as an additional language. Growing up with a mother who speaks English as her third language, I naturally supported her as she developed her confidence and fluency. This gave me a firsthand understanding of the learning process and shaped my patient, understanding approach to teaching. Whether you're looking to improve your speaking, listening, reading or writing, I can help you work towards your individual goals. With a background in Fine Art, I also bring a creative approach to teaching, using memorable imagery and engaging techniques to make lessons enjoyable and effective.
